This term we are reading “The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas” by John Boyne.
It is a book that has lots of themes and it explores these themes through the eyes of a 9 year old boy called Bruno.It doesn’t tell you exactly what is happening, instead it gives you clues and you have to work things out.
We have been learning a little about Germany, Hitler and the Holocaust to help us work out the clues in the book.
So far we have read 5 chapters and have learnt about the different characters. This is what I think might happen in the book...
Bruno will try and save the other boy and his father will find out
